PIA2 END OF THE FIRST TEACHERS TRAINING

PIA2 FIM DA PRIMEIRA FORMAO DE PROFESSORES

On the 14th and 15th of December the first cycle of the teachers training ended, lasting 30 hours. This training will allow testing PIA2 Project Management Methodology in the context of Professional Training.

During this weekend the group worked on the detailed planning and implementation evaluation of projects management, as well as it has been discussed the necessary monitoring during the pilot test phase to the 3 partner schools:

- Professional and Technical Training Association of Beira Interior (AFTEBI - Covilh)

- Professional School of Aveiro (AEVA - Aveiro)

- Secondary School of Santo Andr (ESSA -Barreiro)

The Pilot tests will start in January 2014.

Nos dias 14 e 15 de Dezembro encerrou-se o primeiro ciclo de formao de professores, no mbito do projeto PIA 2, com a durao de 30 horas, que permitir testar a Metodologia de Gesto de Projetos no Ensino Profissional.

Durante este fim-de-semana trabalhou-se o planeamento detalhado e a implementao da avaliao da gesto de Projetos, bem como foi discutido o acompanhamento necessrio durante a fase de teste piloto nas 3 escolas parceiras:

- Associao para a Formao Tecnolgica e Profissional da Beira Interior (AFTEBI)

- Associao para a Educao e Valorizao da Regio de Aveiro (AEVA)

- Escola Secundria de Santo Andr (ESSA)

Os testes piloto iniciaro j em Janeiro de 2014.

PIA2 INICIOU-SE A FORMAO DE FORMADORES EM PORTUGAL

This weekend EUROYOUTH just started the Training of Trainers in Portugal for the testing of PIA2 Project Management Methodology in the context of Professional Training.

During the 30th November and 1st December, 15 of the 30 hours of training were fulfilled with 3 partner schools and 10 participants:

- Professional and Technical Training Association of Beira Interior (AFTEBI - Covilh)

- Professional School of Aveiro (AEVA - Aveiro)

- Secondary School of Santo Andr (ESSA -Barreiro).

No mbito do projeto PIA2, a EUROYOYTH iniciou, este fim-de-semana, a formao de formadores que permitir testar o uso da Metodologia de Gesto de Projetos no Ensino Profissional.

Durante os dias 30 de novembro e 1 de dezembro, as sesses ocuparam j 15 das 30 horas previstas para a formao, contando com a presena de 3 escolas parceiras e 10 participantes:

No mbito do projeto ECDI Everybody Can Do It, a EUROYOUTH Portugal promoveu junto de um grupo de participantes em Projetos de Mobilidade Europeia, uma atividade de sensibilizao sobre o tema da violncia contra a mulher. Os participantes foram convidados a refletir sobre o dia 25 de Novembro, em que se assinala o Dia Internacional pela Eliminao da Violncia Contra as Mulheres, e a criar um cartaz com uma mensagem sobre o tema. Foram tambm recolhidos alguns testemunhos sobre o tema e o resultado final, um vdeo com cerca de 5 minutos, pode agora ser visto no Blog e no Facebook do ECDI.

A EUROYOUTH, enquanto parceira do Projeto PIA2- Project Management in VET, participou na terceira reunio internacional do Consrcio, dias 14 e 15 de Novembro, em Montpellier, Frana. A reunio foi acolhida pela Universidade de Montpellier, parceiro francs.

A delegao portuguesa contou com a participao de um membro da equipa do projeto e de duas das experts externas do projeto: Ana Ribeiro da AEVA Escola Profissional de Aveiro e Cristina Reis da AFTEBI Escola Tecnolgica da Covilh.

Os objetivos desta reunio, cumpridos com sucesso, eram:

  • Discutir, debater e analisar os resultados obtidos at ao momento da anlise pelos experts do segundo conjunto de documentos: (1) Conceo Didtica da Gesto de Projetos na Formao Profissional; (2) Definir Padres de Qualidade: Desenvolvimento e Aprendizagem auto-Organizados com Base em Planos de Trabalho; (3) O Ensino baseado em Gesto de Projetos e o Trabalho em Sala de Aula: a Avaliao do Sucesso da Aprendizagem;
  • Apresentar os planos e estratgias de formao a professores/as e de implementao de projetos piloto;
  • Acordar os prximos passos do projeto: (1) terceiro teste de materiais do projeto o Guia de Gesto de Projetos; (2) disseminao do projeto, nomeadamente atravs de artigos.

INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

ACTIVITY CELEBRATE THE 25TH NOVEMBER

No mbito do projeto ECDI Everybody Can Do It, a EUROYOUTH Portugal promoveu junto de um grupo de participantes em Projetos de Mobilidade Europeia, uma atividade de sensibilizao sobre o tema da violncia contra a mulher.

Os participantes foram convidados a refletir sobre a questo da Violncia Contra as Mulheres e a criar um cartaz com uma mensagem sobre o tema. Foram tambm recolhidos alguns testemunhos sobre o tema e o resultado final, um vdeo com cerca de 5 minutos de durao, ser publicado brevemente no YouTube e na pgina do ECDI.

Under the project ECDI - Everybody Can Do It, EUROYOUTH Portugal promoted an activity to raise awareness to violence against women among a group of participants in European Mobility Projects.

The participants were invited to reflect on the issue of violence against women and to create a poster with a message on the topic. Within the same activity, some testimonials were collected. The final result, a video of about 5 minutes long, will soon be published on YouTube and on ECDI blog.

1. EMPLOYMENT AND COMPENSATION

The attainment of fair and comparable wages, hours and benefits for comparable work, regardless the gender

Portuguese Constitution, Article 59 Workers Rights

1. Regardless of age, sex, race, citizenship, place of origin, religion and political and ideological convictions, every worker shall possess the right:

a) To the remuneration of his work in accordance with its volume, nature and quality, with respect for the principle of equal pay for equal work and in such a way as to guarantee a proper living.

Labour Code Article 270 Criteria for determining retribution

For determination of the value of retribution it has to be considered the quantity, nature and quality of work, always observing the principle that, for equal work or work with equal value, the same salary is due.

Reality check

However, women earn less than men in U.E. average: 16,2% less and in Portugal average: 18% less

Actions to prevent discrimination based on marital, parental, reproductive or health status in all employment or promotion decisions

Besides Constitution and Work Code, there is Governmental Body for it: CITE - Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment (site), created in 1979 and CIG Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (site)

Ensure job security by allowing for interruptions in work for maternity/ paternity/ parental leave and family-related responsibilities.

2. The state shall be charged with ensuring the working, remuneratory and rest-related conditions to which workers are entitled, particularly by:

c) Ensuring special work-related protection for women during pregnancy and following childbirth

Reality

However this only applies for women working under dependent contracts.
