A wide range of courses is offered, which meet any kind of personal need, by Portlíngua, EUROYOUTH Partner.
We recommend a 3 week Language Course to assure the consolidation of the knowledge acquired as well as the success of the internships.

INTENSIVE PORTUGUESE COURSE :: 5 LEVELS / 20 LESSONS PER WEEK

• 4 lessons / hours daily
• Small groups: max. 10 students
• Students are placed in different classes according to their Portuguese level (cf. European Reference Frame)
• All teachers are native speakers and specialised in teaching Portuguese asa foreign language
• Videos, DVD’s, tapes and discussions.

LEARNING CONTENTS

• Grammar, oral and written exercises, improving vocabulary, compositions.
• Conversation (discussions about current affairs in Portuguese speaking countries).
• Introduction to Portuguese culture, history and literature, comments on newspapers, Portuguese music and folklore.
• Preparing Participants to their sectors, before starting the work placement.
• Special extra teaching support for students with learning difficulties.

PROFESSIONAL VOCABULARY

The contents of the portuguese language course cover introduction and practice of professional vocabulary through: hand-overs; dialogues; role-plays or by the presentation of the activity by the participant.

All this depending on the profession; some professions allow a wider range of approaches.

It also depends on the length of the course, because it is not possible to introduce and practice professional vocabulary without introducing first specific grammar structures and also without practicing everyday vocabulary, it can be difficult in short courses.

EVALUTION & CERTIFICATION

Participants' progress is continuously assessed through homework, assignmentsand final examination. Class attendance is obligatory. In the end, a certificatewill be issued according to the type of course, amount of hours studied andlevel of proficiency.
